I. Objectifs et périmètre du document 3
Ce document couvre l'installation et l'utilisation du montage Samba (Microsoft Share) sous AIX. Il ne couvre pas le partage Samba de dossier AIX, qui suppose l'installation complète de Samba, et éventuellement aussi, la connexion à l'Active Directory. Ce point fera l'objet d'un autre document technique.
II. Installation du fileset
Le fileset requis se trouve sur le 1er CD d'installation d'AIX 5.3.0.0-05 (07/2006) :

\installp\ppc\bos.cifs_fs
Copier ce fichier dans le /tmp du serveur AIX, et exécuter les commandes en tant que root :

cd /tmp/AIX-5.3-CD1

installp -Y -aqXgd . bos.cifs_fs
On obtient (serveur MYSERVER) :

III. Utilisation de CIFS_FS

Se connecter au serveur AIX en tant que root. |

mkdir /tmp/b |
Création d'un répertoire temporaire |

mount -v cifs -n 192.96.16.8/adm-scemama/xxxxxxxx -o wrkgrp=LEDOMAINE,fmode=755 /fscemama /tmp/b |
Montage sur le répertoire /tmp/b du share //192.96.16.8/fscemama, pour le user LEDOMAINE\\adm-scemama, avec xxxxxxxx comme mot de passe. |

A noter qu'en choissant Both plutôt que Now à « Mount now, add entry to /etc/filesystems, or both » et Yes à « /etc/filesystems entry will mount as start », on peut perpétuer le montage sur le système.
Vérification du montage : la commande df | grep fscemama renvoie :
